On this Mother’s Day 2012 I continued our Redefining Normal series with a message entitled; Redefining Care which I believe accurately describes Motherhood.

While raising children Moms Redefine Care by doing amazing things; making it all happen behind the scenes where no one else sees & continuously are in sacrifice mode.

In 2 Kings we find a Mom who does exactly these 3 things Redefining Care displaying what motherhood is all about! With her 2 sons about to become slaves as payment for her deceased husbands debt she kicks into sacrifice mode making it happen behind the scenes by doing something amazing!

In this pocast Pastor Greg points out in the 2nd chapters of both Acts & Philippians normal lives were being redefined by people who were a part of a Community of Faith changed by the power of God & having the attitude of Jesus. In these 2 Letters/Books, Paul stressed Believers should follow Jesus' example & love one another working together to make sure everyone’s needs were met.

Then & today...the Gospel doesn’t just improve programs & encourage good conduct; it Redefines what living a Normal Christian Life is all about through relationships lived out in a Community of Faith.

This podcast, "A Powerful New Language" concludes our "Pentecostal Power" message series.

On the Day of Pentecost 120 disciples were gatherd together in that upper room in Jerusalem filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Because tongues occurred in the Bible & is spoken by believers today let’s define what tongues is; tongues is a earthly or heavenly language prompted by the Holy Spirit that we speak out to encourage ourselves and others during personal prayer or in a corporate setting.

Power for Service is the 2nd meassge in a 3 part series entitled; Pentecostal Power!

On the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit Baptized, Immersed, was Poured Out On and Filled the 120 disciples giving them power for service to be witnesses for Christ from that upper room in Jerusalem out to the ends of the earth!

"The Power of God" is the 1st installment in BPC's 3 part after Easter series entitled; "Pentecostal Power" & God's POWER through the Holy Spirit is the driving forces behind all these new churches being planted.

This is the resounding message of Easter "He is not here; he is risen." So...Happy Resurrection Day 2012!! The Resurrection Alternative is the 3rd & final message in BPC's "What If; The Easter Alternative."

In this message Pastor Greg helps us discover that because Jesus is risen we can have hope now; right where we are no matter how ugly or uncertain our current circumstances may be or how disappointed & disillusioned we’ve become. And...we can have hope for the future; by choosing Christ we can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that because Jesus rose from the dead God through the power of the Holy Spirit is with us!

It’s through this alternative; this choice that hope lives on this side of the resurrection!

On this Palm Sunday 2012 we continue our 3 part series; What If? The Easter Alternative with part 2 entitled; The Salvation Alternative.

An Alternative as a course of action, choices we make hoping to improve the quality of our lives and this Salvation Alternative, this choice is all about Grace which in the likeness of Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a Donkey over 2000 years ago!

"The God Alternative" is the 1st message in Pastor Greg's 3 part Easter Series, "What If? The Easter Alternative.

All throughout the Bible God was making the personal aspects of His Character known to us and in it we see Jesus the personal representatiation of God clearly being personal by laughing & crying with people, going to parties with people & eating dinner with people. Realize that God Himself came in the form of Jesus show us how personal He really is!

God’s concerned about details of your life & He wants to be involved with you through His Son Jesus radiating the glory of His Character while sympathizing in our weakness providing a way out of temptation.
